An initiative to improve CiviCRM's understanding of payment by instalments. The scope aims to:

• Improve CiviCRM's core accounting functionality by fully differentiating between contributions (the obligation to pay) and payments themselves
• Introduce a new "payment plan" entity that would allow users to create a set of options for how a membership can be paid in installments
• Integrate the payment plan entity to

• Create membership status rules that allow for changing the membership status when payments are overdue

An initiative to more fully integrate the Mosaico mailing library to CiviCRM this will include integration with:

• Scheduled reminders
• A-B testing
